Color Striped Nails DIY

Here's a very easy and fun nail tutorial for you! You can adjust it by using all the colors that you like and mix and match them for a personal touch!

Here's how:

1. Get your colors ready! I used a basic grey for the base. And a green, blue, pink, red and purple for the stripes.

2. Apply the polish that you want to use for the basis.

3. Gently apply the different colors on the top of your nails to get a straight line.

And that was actually it!

10 Things that you did not know about me

I've had this blog for more then 6 months and I am still amazed at how kind all your comments are! I truly appreciate all the support and want to give something back by sharing a bit about my personal life with you. Having this blog has changed me in so many ways and I love every bit of it!

You probably already know that I have two cats, but I bet you didn't know that I named them Wolfgang and Olaf :)

Wolfgang loves to sleep on my laptop!

I hate cycling. I live in a country where cycling is something that you just do, and I absolutely despise it!

I just finished one of the biggest school projects that I've ever had. I had to make, direct, design, promote and act in a play that me and my classmates made. It was the first time for me to be on stage and it was one of the scariest moments of my life! Oh, and did I mention        that I was the lead character? :)

One of my favorite foods is .....cocopuffs! I have been eating them since I was very little and I still wish I could eat them every day!

I almost always wear dresses or skirts. And on the rare occasion that I do wear pants, people always notice and point it out.

My favorite dress

If you read my about me page, you know that I live with my boyfriend. But what I didn't mention is that we have been together for more then 9 years.

I love to travel! I love it so much that I am currently looking for an internship in New York to explore the wonderful city even more!

I have 4 tattoos and I am currently doing research to alter one of them. You can check some of my tattoo inspiration out on my Pinterest page.

When I was 17, I lived in England for a year and worked as an au pair.

I still get very excited when I receive a great comment on my blog, it can really make my day!

Thank you so much for stopping by!

Shopping List

I just love the colors in autumn, and especially how all the stores match there merchandise in those pretty warm colors. I just wish I could have everything of my list! But for now I'll just have to enjoy my new shoes (the autumn shoes on the list), because I just bought them :)

Which autumn pieces are on your list?

Wooden Door Hanger DIY

I got a wood burning tool from my dad and immediately wanted to try it. So here's a fun wooden door hanger tutorial for you!

I decided to keep the design simple and just made one for my craft room. And I obviously had to add a bow to keep it girly :)

Here's how:

Supplies: Piece of wood, marker/pencil, drill, small piece of rope, wood burner

1. Take a piece of (old) wood
2. Draw your text or drawing on it.
3. Take your burning tool and trace your drawing.
4. Drill a small hole in the top of the wood. Get a piece of rope and pull it though the hole.

All done!

DIY | Book print

Here's a quick and super easy tutorial for you: Printing your own design or image onto an old book page.
I really enjoyed making this vintage looking artwork, and it is so fast to make. I used the design that I made for my leather printing tutorial and I think it really gives it that cute vintage feel.

I can't wait to try out more designs on old paper and frame them!

Design your own image, or simply take an old picture and make it print ready.

1. If your Paper has torn edges like mine or is to small to fit properly in the printer, use painters tape to tape it to a standard A4 size paper. Make sure that the painters tape is not very sticky.
2. Place the piece of paper in the printer and print the image onto the paper.

All done!
